PRICES INCLUDE UK VAT The RAD-2 Shock Mounts are designed for for use with standard length shotgun microphones and small condenser pencil microphones with slide-on fur windshields on the front. It provides exceptional isolation from movement, handling noise and other vibrations associated with booming. The mount has soft-coated universal mic clips to fit any mic 19-25mm in diameter. Each mount includes a pair of standard firmness hoops (black), a pair of softer hoops (light blue) and a pair of extra firm hoops (dark blue). The RAD-2 hoops are slightly thicker than RAD-1 hoops and have an extra 3mm of bracing on top to hold the extra weight of front-heavy microphones. Pair of RAD MS Double Mic Clips
Pair of MS Double Mic Clips suitable for mounting 19-21mm mic pairs in mid-side stereo configuration. These clips space MS paired mics at a very close 2.5mm apart and have adjustment screws for lower mic clips to get perfect vertical alignment. RAD Mount Pistol Grip Handle
The RAD Mount Pistol Grip Handle is designed to attach to the RAD Mount top bracket and thumbwheel. This handle can be swapped out with a RAD-1 or RAD-2 boom adaptor to use for handheld recording. The idea behind the step down on the foam shape, is to allow it to be pushed close to the front hoop of the shock mount. This also helps to retain the optional fur cover too. Inside, there is cavity (ø40mm) that creates dead air space around the capsule. We have also added a non-slip silicone to the entrance of each foam, to help prevent the foams from slipping off. Each foam can be found with or without the fur windcover too - giving you that little bit extra wind protection! All our foams are made in the United Kingdom using a semi-open cell material that is also resistant to UV and moisture.

The mic has a thick circular end around the capsule and a thinner "stem" to provide more grip around the body of the mic. Inside, there is cavity (ø40mm) that creates dead air space around the capsule. We have also added a non-slip silicone to the entrance of each foam, to help prevent the foams from slipping off. Each foam can be found with or without the fur windcover too - giving you that little bit extra wind protection! All our foams are made in the United Kingdom using a semi-open cell material that is also resistant to UV and moisture.

The RAD-2 Field Edition Shock Mounts are designed for use with small condenser microphones used on stands or other mounts for field recording. It provides exceptional isolation from movement and other vibrations. The Field Edition mount comes with 3 sizes of mic clips -- a pair of 19-21mm clips, a pair of 12.5-14.5mm clips and an individual 8mm (for Lemo or MZL connectors). You can get Replacement or Add-On Pods to attached to existing kits for creating additional sizes of Mini-ALTO sized windshields. Combine your new sized pod halves with the appropriate sized replacement fur windcover to complete the full kit. These are individual pods only to be used if you already have the other parts to complete a kit. The rear pod can be connected with all sizes of front pods. NOTE: The polarity on the magnets on the front pods are the same and meant to connect only to a rear pod - so two front pods will NOT magnetically connect together.
