How do I know which windshields and shock mounts are compatible with my microphone?
We have a searchable Mic Compatibility form and there are also links to mic compatibility tables.
The RAD Shock Mounts standard Mic clips fit mics that are 19-25mm in diameter - and can fit up to 28mm diameter mics with the safety straps removed. There are also custom Mic clips to fit 8mm and 12-14mm mics.
For the Mini-ALTO Windshields, the inner diameter space is approximately 85mm across and the length of the zeppelin corresponds to the sizes. For example, the Mini-ALTO 115 will fit mics up to a total length of 115mm, including the XLR connector in this measurement. The Mini-ALTO 180 will fit up to 180mm in length; the Mini-ALTO 210 will fit up to 210mm in length; and so on with the longer sizes.
There are also many microphones that have dimensions which may fit inside the Mini-ALTO windshield, but that we have not listed because they would require a custom mounting bracket. Some sound recordists have designed 3D-printable custom brackets and have made their files available for free. Please contact us and we can let you know if there is a custom mounting option available for your microphone.

I am a sound recordist. Can I buy products directly from Radius?
Yes you can buy from Radius. We have online stores available to buy directly for customers in the UK, EU, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Please note that in many cases the products can only be purchased and shipped within the region of the particular online store.
For example, the UK online store can ship to UK based customers and will charge UK VAT rates on purchases. The EU store will only ship within the EU and charge VAT rates in the country of delivery. If you can not find a product or reseller in your area or need to make specific shipping arrangements, please contact us for help in arranging a purchase or delivery.
I am with a broadcasting, audio integration or equipment rental company. Can I buy products directly from Radius?
Yes you can buy directly from Radius. We offer bulk purchasing options that are setup from the factory for using on larger scale productions. These kits can be customised to suit specific microphones and available to ship worldwide with options to pay in selected local currencies.
