The Universal clips on the RAD-2 Camera shoe mount were designed to work with mics 19/25mm, including the MKH 50. The MKH clips were designed for the people who wanted to switch out the mic from the mount quicker. The soft-grip on the Universal clips, makes it a fractionally slower process than the non soft-grip MKH clips.
So to answer your question – yes, the RAD-2 Camera Shoe mount will be fine for the Sennheiser MKH 50.
