Large Hole Urchin Lav windshield, Black - Single/Pair

The Large Hole Urchin Lav windshields are made to use with lavalier mics placed on the outside of clothing using a clip or other fixture.
The Large Hole Urchin fur covers are sized to firmly fit over mics like the DPA 4060, Voice Technologies VT506 Series & Countryman B3.
They have a unique blue band which holds them firmly into place, taking away the risk of them slipping off.
You can choose from a SINGLE pack or a PAIR.

Do you make a Lav Urchin for the DPA 4060?
Yes! We have a Large Hole Lav Urchin, specifically made for larger microphones like the DPA 4060 and LOM mikroUši.
Do you make smaller profile Lavs?
Yes! We have the Mini Urchin Lav Windshield. This fur is a couple millimetres shorter than the Lav Urchin fur. This allows you to hide the mics more.
The Mini Lav Urchins come in Grey, White & Black. However we can also do custom colours. Contact hello@radiuswindshields.com for more information.
How do I use the Blue Safety strap on the Lav Urchins?
1. Locate the blue safety strap.
2. Put the microphone slightly through the loop.
3. Push the microphone directly down, into the Lav hole.
4. Secure the blue safety strap on the microphone.
Can I use my lav windshields with a foam?
If you are using the Large Hole Lav Urchin, you can put a Lavalier foam inside for smaller microphones like the Cos-11 or DPA 6060.
The Puffer Urchin Lav Windshield comes with a foam core. This takes away the need to buy or take out a lavalier foam.
