    The Mini-ALTO Windshield Kits offer solid wind protection in a compact and rugged zeppelin. You can shove it into a backpack or stuff several kits in a hardshell case. Once you take it out, the Mini-ALTO is ready to record in seconds.

The Mini-ALTO is a compact and versatile microphone windshield and shock mounting system for microphones. It features the award winning RAD shock mount for excellent isolation from handling noise, an ultra-lightweight 2-part magnetic "pod" windshield that can be fitted/unfitted in seconds and a removable fur wind cover.

The full Mini-ALTO kits comes with everything you need to insert a mic and start recording.

  • 1. Front and rear magnetic pods
  • 2. RAD-2 Shock Mount with softer & firmer extra pairs of hoops
  • 2a. Pistol Grip Handle included in Mini-ALTO 250-480 kits
  • 3. Synthetic fur wind cover (choice of black or grey fur)
  • 4. RAD Cable Straps
  • 5. 'Smiley Face' Adaptor (pre-installed on RAD-2)
  • 6. Magnetic stowage carabiner clip for windshield pods
  • 7. Cable (optional to include in selected kits)

Add-On Mini-ALTO Windshield Kit

The Add-On Mini-ALTO Kit is made for customers who already have a RAD Shock Mount or complete Mini-ALTO kit.
